The National Weather Service's forecast for today is a slight chance of showers with a high of 67 degrees. Tonight's forecast is partly cloudy with a low of 45.
2. Filling the Tank
The lowest gas price in Fenton Wednesday night was $3.95 per gallon, according to Mapquest Gas Prices. The station offering this price was Clark #0824, 436 N. Leroy St. The next-lowest price per gallon was $3.96, at Speedway #8405 (discount available), 3245 Owen Rd. and Fenton Marathon, 402 W. Silver Lake Rd.

There was a possible panther sighting in Fenton Township, near Lahring and Linden roads, the Tri-County Times reported Wednesday. The animal complaint was posted Tuesday on the Flint Police Operations Facebook page, with the caller saying they saw a "very large cat" that "looked like a panther." It was not confirmed.

It's Open Mic evening at Gatsby Grind, 14330 N. Fenton Rd., in Fenton. The free event begins at 6 p.m. today, featuring Jenna Marx and Robert Phoenix from Nver knows Best, playing live. New talents are always welcome to join, and amps are provided.
5. Looking Ahead
Kensington Astronomy at the Beach is 6 p.m. to midnight Friday at Kensington Metropark, 2240 W. Buno Rd., in Milford. The event is free, and telescopes will be provided. The keynote speaker will be Dr. Andrew Feustel, a native of Lake Orion, who is a two-time shuttle astronaut and a geophysicist.
