DDA Partners with Fenton Hotels to Promote Downtown

Officials spend $20,000 for Breakfast Sponsorship Program.

The Fenton Downtown Development Authority wants to spread the good word on all Fenton has to offer to visitors staying in its area hotels.

The Fenton DDA announced its Breakfast Sponsorship Program with and Fairfield Inn & Suites hotels of Fenton this week with a check presentation of $10,000 for each hotel.

In an effort to communicate news about Fenton, its area restaurants, shopping and entertainment, each hotel will participate in promoting the Fenton Be Closer campaign.

The hotels will provide the Entertainment Guides to guests at check-in, as well as place Business Recruitment Guides in the Business Center.  A free-standing 2’ X 3’ sign promoting Fenton Be Closer will be placed in the hotel lobbies.   

Additional tabletop displays will be placed in the hotel lobbies and coffee bar areas.

A link to FentonBeCloser.com will be available on the hotel’s WiFi login pages, as well as on the hompage of the hotel’s business computers.  The Fenton Be Closer restaurant directory and the events calendar, and the “visit local area” will be able to be linked to on the hotel’s website as well.

“This is a terrific opportunity for us to invite visitors to our local establishments as well as some of our great events,” says Michael Burns, City of Fenton Downtown Development Authority Executive Director. “The hotels are great partners to help promote the City of Fenton.”
