Fenton Council Observes Moment of Silence for Drowning Victim, 11

West Frescura was a student at Linden schools.

Fenton City Council observed a moment of silence for West Frescura, 11, who drowned in Marl Lake in Fenton Township on Sunday.

The boy was going into sixth grade at Linden Community Schools, said Councilwoman Pat Lockwood.

The reported the boy was pulled out of the lake Sunday night. Police said he was playing with another 11-year-old when he disappeared in the water. A Michigan State Police Dive Team later found the missing boy, who was pronounced dead at Hurley hospital.

My deepest sympathies go out to this family.I will keep this family in my prayers and thoughts.I will say a extra prayer for West...MY HEART JUST JUMPS AT WHAT THIS FAMILY IS GOING THROUGH..Just a absolute tragedy!
