Fenton Township Passes Mosquito Control Renewal, Board Wins Unopposed

The Mosquito Control Renewal passed with 6,693 yes votes to 1,973 no votes.

Fenton Township voters passed a Mosquito Control Renewal Tuesday with 6,693 yes votes to 1,973 no votes.

Each parcel of real estate in the Township upon which there is located a dwelling or commercial building will be assessed the sum of up to $30 per year per for the next four years for the continuation of the Township Mosquito Control Program.

There are several candidates that will fill spots on the Fenton Township board including newcomer Shaun Shumaker and incumbents Mark Goupil, Robert Kesler,  and Vince Lorraine as they ran unopposed.

Fenton Township Clerk Bob Krug ran unopposed Tuesday after winning the primary. Supervisor Bonnie Mathis and treasurer John Tucker also ran unopposed.
