Fenton Township Settles Sexual Discrimination Lawsuit for $90,000

A sexual discrimination lawsuit filed against Fenton Township by a former firefighter was recently settled for $90,000, according to an article at Mlive.com.

The former firefighter had claimed that her gender played a role in her termination from the township fire department, the report states.

Thomas Broecker, operations manager for Fenton Township, told Mlive.com that the township does not admit wrongdoing by agreeing to the settlement.
