Tony Brown Wins 6th District Seat with Genesee County Board of Commissioners

Brown defeats Linden Libertarian candidate Jonathan T. Ettinger.

Tony Brown will leave his post as a Fenton Township Trustee to serve the Fenton area as the Genesee County Board of Commissioners sixth district representatives.

Brown, of Fenton Township, defeated Linden Libertarian Jonathan T. Ettinger 12,238 to 4,625.

Brown has served on the Fenton Township board for eight years. He is also the CEO and president of Community Parent, Inc. and is founder of the Tri-County Debate League. He graduated from Lake Fenton High School in 1989 and works as a manager for an adhesive company. He is married to Sonya Brown and has two children Alex and Corinne.

“I like the challenge of going into the county and making positive changes,” Brown has told Fenton Patch. “There are some budgetary woes and I think I can shed some light on what needs to be done.”
