Graves Reacts to Gov. Snyder's State of the State Address

In his speech, Snyder called for increased gas taxes and vehicle registration fees to repair Michigan's crumbling road infrastructure.

Gov. Rick Snyder delivered his third State of the State address to a joint session of the Michigan Legislature Wednesday night.

In his speech, Snyder called for increased gas taxes and vehicle registration fees to repair Michigan's crumbling road infrastructure.

State Rep. Joseph Graves, R-Argentine Township, tonight made the following statement after the address:

"Tonight the governor highlighted the progress we have made streamlining and simplifying state government for Michigan's hard-working taxpayers. Although we have made great strides, we still have work to do in returning Michigan to its full potential. The governor stressed some of these challenges in tonight's speech and though there are no easy answers, I am committed to finding long-term solutions for our residents.
