Lasco Ford Lends a Hand After Senior Center Fire
Loose Senior Center in Linden could have the use of two of its three buildings within a week or two; main building destroyed.
The community is helping pick up the pieces after a in Linden on Friday.
in Fenton, contributed a $10,000 check and will donate $25 per car sold, to the Loose center, Fenton Councilwoman Cheryl King said Monday. King represents the city on the Loose center board.
In addition, two of the senior center's three buildings could be usable again in a week or two, after some cleanup, she said.

King thanked the community for their comments.
"We are moving forward. There's good, positive things," she said.

Mayor Sue Osborn said it was very emotional and touching.
"When I saw (President) on TV, I felt like crying myself," Osborn said.
The main building suffered the most severe damage.
"That top floor is now in the basement," King said. "We were happy everyone was safe."
The Fenton Press reported Linden Fire Chief Brian Will suspects the fire may have started because of an electrical issue.
“I just think right now the people have to understand the board and the staff are all working diligently,” Executive Director Carl Gabrielson told the Fenton Press. “Patience is the biggest virtue right now.”
