Rick Santorum Wins Genesee County

Genesee County voters chose Rick Santorum with 39.13 percent of the vote over Michigan winner Mitt Romney, who had 38.36 percent of the vote.

There was a 13.73 percent voter turnout in the county as 46,502 ballots were cast from a total of 338,776 registered voters.

The turnout in Fenton was a bit higher. Fenton Township Clerk Bob Krug said the turnout was above 20 percent.
