Fenton Yard Waste Program Kicks Off Next Week

Find out when you can get to work in the garden and what you need to know about collection.

Spring brings sunshine, twittering robins, bursting buds, flowers poking up through the soil and lots of cleanup in the yard.

Fortunately, Fenton's yard waste program begins Monday, April 8, and continues through the last week of November, according to the city's website.

"Yard Waste Tags are $.50 each and must be affixed to 32 gallon trash cans to store yard waste, or, affixed to the regular yard waste bags," according to the website.

Call Fenton City Hall at 810-629-2261 for more information.

How inconvenient & additional cost with special tags & bags. Would incourage NOT to clean up. I would rather have an annual garbage/trash fee Included in my taxes ....and be rid of this current nonsense.
