Fenton Schools Closed Tuesday Due to Dangerous Wind Chill Temperatures

An Arctic blast that is making it unsafe for kids to walk to school is responsible for Tuesday's school closing.

The Fenton Public School District has called off classes Tuesday because of bitterly cold wind chill temperatures forecast for southeast Michigan.

The closing was announced on the school’s web site.

The Arctic cold temperatures are expected to persist through Wednesday morning. There’s no word yet on whether school will be in session Wednesday.
