Fenton Seniors Honored at Awards Ceremony

The top athletic awards and scholarships were awarded.

At the Fenton High School Senior Awards Ceremony Tuesday, the top athletic awards and scholarships were awarded.

Here is a look at the winners.

Mark Peck Award - Connor Muntin: Awarded to the male student who is considered to be the most well rounded graduating senior at . Athletic contributions and accomplishments, scholastic record (academic - approximately a 3.0 grade point), citizenship and leadership will be equally weighed to determine the best qualified recipient. The recipient must be involved in a sports activity during his senior year to be considered for this award.

Ivan Williams Award/Scholarship - Sammi Cowger: Awarded to the female student who is considered to be the most well rounded graduating senior at Fenton High School. Athletic contributions and accomplishments, scholastic record (academic - approximately a 3.0 grade point), citizenship and leadership will be equally weighed to determine the best qualified recipient. The recipient must be involved in a sports activity during her senior year to be considered for this award.

Leroy Decker Award - Julie Gilbert: This award will be presented to a college bound senior girl or boy (excluding Marc Peck and Ivan Williams award winners). Grade Point Average must be 2.8 or above. Recipient must have demonstrated determination, enthusiasm, resourcefulness, leadership, and achievement. The recipient must be involved in a sports activity during their senior year to be considered for this award.
