Fenton Student Work to be Showcased at Upcoming Event

Fenton Area Public Schools invites the community to the International Baccalaureate Showcase May 11.

Fenton Area Public Schools is inviting the community to a showcase next month that will let residents see "a world class education in action."

The International Baccalaureate Showcase will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. May 11 at Andrew G. Schmidt Middle School, according to a post on the school district's web site.

The event, which is free and open to all, will include live performances by Chinese Acrobats at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m., Fenton student performances and a variety of International foods for sampling.

Student learning will be showcased by student projects and displays from all grade levels K-12. "See where an IB Education has and can take our students," the post states.
