Lake Fenton Celebrates Homecoming

Blue Devils football team defeat Durand 7-1, seniors win float competition and the homecoming king and queen are announced.

Lake Fenton celebrated homecoming in a big way Friday night.

The Blue Devils football team crushed Durand 70-6, the seniors won the float competition, Sidney Scott was named homecoming queen and Nick Forbush was named homecoming king.

"I was so excited. I was so nervous the entire time I had a stomach ache and when I won I was just so full of joy I was really excited," Scott said.

"It was just a honor to have my friends think of me and vote for me," Forbush said.

Seniors - Guys: Zach Zielinski, Tyler Begley, Austin Frank, Nick Forbush, Lance Hasenfratz. Girls: Sidney Scott, Eljesa Vitija, Chelsee Allen, Angela Todd, Hannah Meier

Juniors - Girls: Taylor Sheyachich, Hope Wright. Guys: Chase Hanson, Neil Allor

Sophomores - Girls: Bailey Withers, Kennedy Williams. Guys: Chase Copeland, Wesley Potts

Freshmen - Girls: Calli Novak, Allison Luke. Guys: Jacob Fletcher, Jake Zielinski

The Lake Fenton Homecoming 5K will take place at 9 a.m. Saturday and the Homecoming dance will begin at 8 p.m. Saturday at Lake Fenton High School.
