Lake Fenton Honors Students of the Month

Megan Davis and Megan Somers win awards at the school.

Lake Fenton High School has announced September’s Student of the Month based on the premises of “Engaged Learning.”

Lake Fenton awarded Megan Davis as the student receiving this honor. 

Megan is a Sophomore and is the daughter of Tom and Jen Davis. Megan has maintained a 4.0 Grade Point Average through her Freshmen year which included completing Geometry and Algebra II in her initial year of High School.

Megan is enrolled in Pre-Calculus as a Sophomore and has aspirations of studying Nuclear Engineering with a minor in Astrophysics in College. Megan is currently also enrolled in the beginning stages of Lake Fenton’s Engineering Program. Megan is a member of the Varsity Softball team and enjoys reading and is an avid hunter with her father and sister.  Her friends and family are very important to her, and spends as much time with them as possible.

Megan is a Senior and the daughter of Marc Somers.  Megan has been a part of the student council at Lake Fenton and took an active role in planning the events at homecoming, as well as other student council functions.  Megan is most notably known by her classmates for her support of athletics, continually being the cheerleader in the stands and is often seen dressed up in a blue morph suit.  Megan has been part of the volleyball team (captain this year), track and basketball teams.
