Savvy Students: Sarah Cox

The school year is winding down. Graduation is around the corner. Fenton Patch would like to give recognition to Lake Fenton and Fenton seniors for all their hard work. That’s why we will be featuring the top 10 students from each school for the next several weeks.

Today we start with Lake Fenton High School senior Sarah Cox, who is 10th in Lake Fenton's Class of 2011. She is the daughter of Maria and Franklin Cox of Swartz Creek. Cox earned a 3.744 grade-point average. These are her answers:

Favorite subject: My favorite subject is science because I like knowing how things work.

Accomplishment you’re most proud of: Winning the Most Valuable Player award for cheerleading my junior year.

What you’re most looking forward to this summer: Hanging out with my friends before we go off to college.

Favorite high school memory: Being on Homecoming court and doing all of the Homecoming activities my senior year.

Celebrity you’d most like to meet: I would want to meet Reese Witherspoon because she seems down to earth.
