A Day in Fenton Sports

It was rainy and cold, but the Fenton basbeball, softball and soccer teams all played at home Monday.

The horrible spring sports weather continued Monday. However, Fenton's baseball, softball and soccer teams played through the rain, wind and cold Monday. Each team faced off against Lapeer East. Here is a look at the action.

The Fenton softball team (18-8, 10-2) swept Lapeer East 16-1, 15-0 in a doubleheader.

The Fenton baseball team (11-16, 7-5) lost to the Eagles 6-4, 6-0 in a doubleheader.

The Fenton varsity girls soccer team defeated Lapeer East 1-0, while the JV team also won.

Four Fenton athletes also have signed a letter of intent recently to continued their athletic careers in college.

Samantha Granger will play volleyball at the University of Findley in Ohio, David Lenzi will play baseball at Concordia University in Ann Arbor, Kendall Mykietuk will swim at Oakland University in Rochester and Chad Schupbach will play baseball at Hope College in Holland.
