Celebrate the Shiawassee
Celebrate the Shiawassee, an event created through collaboration between Southern Lakes Parks and Recreation, Fenton Rotary, Headwaters Trails and Keepers of the Shiawassee, takes place in Bush Park from 2 to 6 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 1.
Activities will include paddling demonstrations by Summit Sports, free food and entertainment.
Even the non-paddling public will enjoy the event; they can learn about kayaking and try one out from Summit Sports. A dedication ceremony will take place at 4 p.m. to thank REI and Fenton Rotary for the two new boat launches in .
