For ages 6 and older: Lessons are taught by certified American Red Cross instructors at the Fenton High School pool. Lessons are designed to stimulate interest and motivate participants to learn to swim and enjoy the water. Classes are taught in six-week sessions. Lessons are subject to weather and water conditions. Efforts will be made to provide make-up dates but cannot be guaranteed. If your child has had swim lessons before, please bring their certificate cards on the first day. Level 2: Fundamental Aquatic Skills: Gives students success with fundamental skills. They will learn the basics of floating on front/back, learning arm/leg action, self-help and basic rescue skills.
Due to a swim meet, classes on Saturday, Jan. 22, have been rescheduled as follows:
- 10 a.m. classes begin at 4 p.m.
- 10:30 a.m. classes begin at 4:30 p.m.
- 10:45 a.m. classes begin at 4:45 p.m.
- 11 p.m. classes begin at 5 p.m.
