The Lake Fenton Winter Classic didn't happen on the originally scheduled dates or at the originally planned venue.

The first year hockey tournament did take place, however, on Barnum Lake behind The Fireplace Feb. 18 and 19. More than 200 players took to the ice on more than 30 teams.
