Grand Blanc's Geena Gall ran in the 800 meter run qualifier this morning that will air on NBC this afternoon. Her parents, Jerry and June, were among a group of friends, family members and other supporters who showed up to a watch party for qualifying race Wednesday morning at the McDonald’s on Saginaw Street across from Grand Blanc High School, according to the Flint Journal.

“When you’re counting down the tenths of the seconds to see if your daughter qualifies for the semifinals of the Olympics, that can be pretty agonizing. Did it happen? Did it not happen? That was unreal," Jerry stated in the article.

The lineup includes equestrian events, volleyball, track and field, cycling, water polo, and diving. There's also additional coverage running on MSNBC, NBCSN, Bravo, CNBC, Telemundo, and NBC's Olympics website (for those who subscribe to eligible cable providers).

Time Events 10:00 a.m. - 10:45 a.m. Equestrian | Individual Jumping Final: Top riders will compete in the individual jumping, including 2008 gold medalist Eric Lamaze of Canada and representing Team USA are Rich Fellers and McLain Ward.
10:45 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. TBD 11:00 a.m. - 12:45 p.m. Men's Volleyball | Quarterfinal Match: United States at Italy — U.S., which won gold at the 2008 Games in Beijing, is coming off a 3-0 win over Tunisia, as David McKienzie had 14 kills, while Italy fell to Bulgaria, 3-0.
12:45 p.m. - 1:15 p.m. TBD
1:15 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. Track and Field | Qualifying Rounds: Men's pole vault and 5000m along with the women's 800m competition; Bernard Lagat of the U.S. is top contender in the men's 5000m.
2:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. Women's Beach Volleyball | Bronze Medal Match: Brazil's Juliana Felisberta and Larissa França face off against China's Xue Chen and Zhang Xi.
3:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. Men's Water Polo | Quarterfinal Match: Croatia at United States — Croatia closed out Group action undefeated after a 12-4 win over Kazakhstan while Team USA suffered an 11-6 loss to Hungary in a rematch of the Beijing final.
4:00 p.m. - 4:30 p.m. Men's Cycling | BMX Qualifying: BMX competition makes it second appearance in the Olympics; Mike Day and Danny Robinson of the U.S. took home the silver and bronze medals respectively in 2008.
4:30 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. Track & Field | Men's Decathlon: U.S. team features first-time Olympian Ashton Easton, one of the top contenders for a gold medal; Easton broke an 11-year-old record at the Olympic Trials.
7:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Olympic Zone Show | The local athletes from Washington, D.C. competing in the Summer Olympics in London are featured, showcasing how they have fared leading up to the games. 8:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m. Track and Field, Beach Volleyball, and Diving | Finals in track and field and women's beach volleyball as well as women's platform diving qualifying; Team USA includes three-time Olympian Sanya Richards-Ross.
