Lovely Trees

Observations of spring in Fenton.

In the past two weeks, I have been commenting all around Fenton that it is beautiful in the spring. The city planners who selected these gorgeous flowering trees and other landscaping did an absolutely wonderful job making the city glow with spring.

They have also done a wonderful job contributing to the stock prices of Kleenex and Claritin. I bet, if you check the Exchange, you will find that shares of each of those have increased this week, mostly due to the fact that we had to stock up on each of those items. I am sure, that we are not the only family in Fenton that had to do so.

I, fortunately, have not fallen victim to the sneezy, itchy, runny eyes, and dripping nose that the other members of my family have, so I still look outside my window at the tree in my yard, and praise that it brightens up our yard, and provides a nice place for songbirds.

The tree also does a nice job creating the illusion of snow as the pretty little flowers lose their petals.

Oh wait - those aren't just petals. It snowed today. Two days after Easter, and three weeks after summer, it snowed.

I hope this snow doesn't kill all of our pretty landscaping.
