Actually if you read the full article it does mention the Gloucester County prosecutor's office.
Michael Jones April 21, 2014 at 10:44 am
How about correctly identifying the location. Washington Twsp in WHAT COUNTY? Ther's never aRead More dateline for an article here. Remember who what where when and why?

A man fell to his death in front of children looking for Easter eggs, and everyone seems to want toRead More out do each other about the location?
Jon Daniel, angry young man, and Jim Ardis, mayor of Peoria. (The mayor's photo is on the right, if you couldn't tell.)
Elizabeth Miller April 21, 2014 at 08:27 am
Satire and criticism against a public official has been allowed under the First Amendment since theRead More dawn of the Republic, people. The theory is that if you are in a public office, you sought that kind of notoriety and therefore must tolerate a higher amount of crap from that public than the rank and file citizen. Read either the Supreme Court decision upholding Larry Flynt and Hustler magazine's parody of Jerry Falwell in the 70s, or for those of you less literate, see the movie People Vs. Larry Flynt. They can bust this kid on possession but it's a massive waste to try to get him on poking fun at the mayor!
Bill Kirchenbauer April 21, 2014 at 09:33 am
Parody is totally legal and this guy has had his civil right violated by a Humorless, power hungryRead More political idiot.
voice of america April 21, 2014 at 10:53 am
Wow what a misuse of power!!, If I lived in Peoria, I would be getting a petition to recall theRead More mayor, and I would make sure the people elect a mayor that will serve the people, The police chief should be demoted to private and the Judges voted out. the people of Peoria need to act before it's their turn.

Getting back to the topic at hand... Religious freedom clause of the 1st Amendment is extended toRead More all regardless of one's religious beliefs or lack thereof. It seem like we can use our freedom of speech not in snipping and sniping at one another, but to use the freedom of speech to promote good will and to do what is right. Protecting religious freedom of other people's religious practice is the right thing to do. To do the contrary is not only wrong, it's also un-American.

I am all for death penalty. Let's do what is necessary to bring it back.
LKLEX April 20, 2014 at 04:30 pm
To criticize the judge in these circumstances is beyond absurd. Sadly, our criminal justice systemRead More reeks of sexism. Even if Michigan had the death penalty, it is extremely unlikely that it would be imposed, much less carried out, against a female murderer. Since the death penalty was reinstated by the U.S. Supreme Court in 1976, men have accounted for more than 1,400 of those executed, compared to only 14 women, a ratio of more than 100:1. Anyway, this woman, this piece of scum, should rot and die in prison...before she rots in hell.
Anna Belle April 20, 2014 at 04:36 pm
This woman is trash, and her actions desreve more than just his rage. It is too bad she can't beRead More executed, because it is obvious she has no value in this or any other world.

Has nothing to do with video games. Raised like a POS acts like a POS. To young at 24?? It'sRead More the generation of 'look downs" staring at their phones all day with the entitlement aspect. 18 is a legal adult. Obama, Sharpton and Jackson are well-documented race-baters. They carefully choose to weigh in withRead More charges of racism when it fits their agenda. Obama with Trayvon Martin and Henry Louis Gates. Sharpton with Tawana Brawley and Jesse Jackson making a living from extorting money from large corporations for his own personal gain are all great examples. So, with these Black leaders serving as examples to our Black youth, what other result would you expect? The facts are indisputable...sad but true.
Dale Murrish April 19, 2014 at 02:59 pm
Good for Kym Worthy. Also, his lawyer is going a good job of defending him. We'll see how this playsRead More out. Hopefully good for Metro Detroit will come out of this tragic racial incident and there will be healing for our city. Finally.

No William, what she needs is about 50000 volts of electricity.Fry the fat yom up nice and crispy.
David Greenberg April 20, 2014 at 01:39 pm
So what you're saying william is that anyone who comes along and claims "PTSD",Read More "ABUSE", blah, blah blah should get a free pass? Why have laws then? The whole concept of making something a criminal act is that we want to discourage it from happening in the first place, by putting deterrents into effect. One such deterrent is PRISON, another is the Death Penalty. If this person was being abused, she had options BEFORE coming to this point - for whatever reason, she make a decision to kill someone, and a Jury of her peers determined her guilt. So off to jail she goes - hopefully FOREVER.
B John April 21, 2014 at 05:33 am

Not a single woman on the list. I wonder why .....
Robert April 18, 2014 at 12:51 pm
Good question Sue, why aren’t there any women on the list? Reading between the lines of yourRead More comment you are inferencing that the business world as not being fair to women. Here’s a hint, the people listed did not sit around waiting for someone else to lift them up. They pulled themselves up by their own boot straps. Just like thousands of business women, although not noted in this “local” article, around the world.

Stopping free-be behavior has to start some where.Every one wants to get something for nothing. ItsRead More the current culture,if this guy was a vetran,it would be ok. Freedom isn't free.
Igor April 20, 2014 at 05:16 pm
Ever heard of making a mistake? He didn't know it wasn't for free. If they want to charge than putRead More the damn soda machine behind the counter.
Igor April 20, 2014 at 06:03 pm
The more I think about it, the more disturb I get. Think about it. You go the supermarket. They wantRead More you to scan your own groceries. Bag your own groceries. They want you to put the money in the machine. Have they lowered the prices? No. Now when you go to fast food places they want you to do their job for them. Pour your own drinks. Do you get a discount? No. Seems to me the more places you go the more they want, you the paying customer to do their job for them. Put the soda machine behind the counter and do the work that you want the minimum wage increase for.

Dale: you are being ridiculous as usual. Neither I nor John David said anything negative about yourRead More coworkers or GM. We were talking about you, you alone. You attacked another poster for not being as charitable as you, because you were involved in an employer sponsored event. This was an uncivil, baseless, self aggrandizating bit of obnoxiousness. You puff yourself up while ripping others down, without reason or any basis. Drop the attacks of other people and I will have nothing to criticize.
Dale Murrish April 19, 2014 at 10:38 am
Sorry I have such a short memory, Matt. You’ve said this specifically a few times before.Read More “We were talking about you, you alone.” I can’t challenge someone’s thinking if you happen to disagree with it. Like many of your other criticisms of me, it’s purely personal. Have a nice weekend.
Daffy Noodnicks April 19, 2014 at 12:05 pm
It really isn't surprising you miss the point again Dale. You have personally attacked anotherRead More poster. And I responded to that attack. The context of my comment has always been that you do not represent the groups of people you purport to in your many comments where you use false illogical sweeping generalizations. You don't represent or speak for GM or your coworkers, as I doubt they would make rude baseless attacks o people they don't know, or use charitable work to belittle others while patting themselves on the back. You did this, nobody else.
