Fenton Residents Sentenced in Murder, Dismemberment of Ohio Woman

Andrew and Kandis Forney were sentenced for their role in trying to cover up the murder of 21-year-old Jessica Sacco.

Two former Fenton residents who played a role in a murder and dismemberment of an Ohio woman will be serving several years in prison. On Monday, the Champaign County Common Pleas Court sentenced Andrew Forney, 26, to 10 years in prison after they say he helped convicted killer Matthew Puccio cut up 21-year-old Jessica Sacco and dispose of her limbs in southern Ohio and northern Kentucky, according to the whio.tv.com. Forney pleaded guilty to a total of nine counts including failure to report a crime, gross abuse of a corpse and obstructing justice. The court sentenced Puccio to at least 42 years in prison. Fenton Residents' Trial Date Set in Murder of Ohio Woman

Andrew and Kandis Forney will face charges in connection with the homicide and dismemberment of Jessica Sacco.

Two Fenton residents charged in connection with the homicide of an Ohio woman will face trial in September. Andrew and Kandis Forney will face charges of abuse of a corpse, obstruction of justice and tampering with evidence. The Forneys pleaded not guilty to the charges in April. The couple was scheduled to go to trial this summer, but prosecutors asked for more time to gather evidence, according to Whiotv.com. The trial is scheduled for Sept. 5 - 7 and Sept. 10. Fenton Couple Pleads Not Guilty on Charges in Jessica Sacco Murder Case

Reports say Andrew Forney and accused killer Matthew Puccio were roommates.

A Fenton couple charged with attempting to help cover up a murder where a man allegedly stabbed, suffocated and dismembered his ex-girlfriend pleaded not guilty Tuesday to several charges. Andrew and Kandis Forney, of Fenton, accused killer Matthew Puccio and two others pleaded not guilty in Champaign County court in western Ohio, according the Springfield News-Sun Police say Puccio stabbed and suffocated the 21-year-old Jessica Sacco around March 22 inside of her apartment in Urbana, OH, about 40 miles northwest of Columbus. Fenton Couple Indicted on Charges From Ohio Murder

Murder suspect Matthew Puccio said Andrew and Kandis Forney said they shouldn’t be punished, because “they had nothing to do with this.”

The man accused of stabbing, suffocating and dismembering his ex-girlfriend said she begged him to kill her and that two Fenton residents were not involved. Matthew Puccio, 25, of Urbana, OH, said an argument started after he confronted Jessica Sacco about text messages she'd sent saying she wanted him dead, according to the Dayton Daily News. “She was pleading with me to slash her throat, slash her wrists, do something, and I told her, ‘No. I can’t do that to you,’ ” Puccio said told the Dayton Daily News in a jailhouse interview. “And she told me to stab her then, so I just held my hand above her stomach. Sheriff: Murder Suspect, Victim Met Fenton Residents Online

Andrew and Kandis Forney were arraigned Tuesday on charges in connection with gruesome murder.

Urbana Police Chief Matt Lingrell said Matthew Puccio, 25, of Urbana, OH, who is accused of killing 21-year-old ex-girlfriend Jessica Sacco, met two Fenton residents, who police say helped cover up the murder, online. “They’re just loose friends,” Lingrell told the Columbus Dispatch. The Flint Journal reported the couple lived in Fenton on Parallel Street in a home near State Road Elementary School. Neighbors had heard about the case, but do not remember seeing the couple at the home, the article stated. Neither of the Forneys has a local court record. Fenton Residents Waive Extradition in Connection with Gruesome Ohio Murder

Fenton residents Kandis and Andrew Forney will be moved to Urbana, OH, where police say Jessica Rae Sacco was dismembered in a bathtub.

Two Fenton residents have waived extradition in connection with the death of Jessica Rae Sacco, who police say was stabbed, suffocated and dismembered in her bathtub before some of her remains were dumped in Ohio and Kentucky. Kandis and Andrew Forney, of Fenton along with Sacco's ex-boyfriend Matthew Puccio, of Urbana, OH who is accused of killing the 21-year-old, waived extradition in court Monday morning and will be transported to Urbana where the crime occurred, according to Dayton Daily News. Fenton Residents Arrested in Connection with Ohio Woman's Death

Police say Fenton residents Andrew and Kandis Forney helped cover up murder of 21-year-old Jessica Rae Sacco.

Two Fenton residents and three other individuals have been arrested on charges in connection with the death of an Ohio woman who police say was stabbed, suffocated and dismembered in a bathtub before some of her remains were moved to Kentucky. The Associated Press is reporting officers found 21-year-old Jessica Rae Sacco  dead Friday in her apartment in Urbana, Ohio about 40 miles northwest of Columbus.
