In addition, many Jinglefest activities begin at a new time, 3 p.m. on Dec. 1, Day said. These include the return of horse-drawn wagon rides downtown, courtesy of Caretel Inns of Linden. Patch wants to see your pets in Halloween costumes.
The Animal Health Clinic, Rumpshaker’s Pet Grooming and The Tuckered Pup, which make up the "Pet Pavillion" in Fenton, hosted a Fall Fling on Oct. 8 with a dog costume contest. Did you miss it? Then check out our photo gallery. Also, mark your calendar for noon to 4 p.m. Dec. 3 as Santa Paws will be at the Jinglefest 2011. Santa will be on hand for photos of children and pets and proceeds are donated to a local pet-related charity. The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals provided these tips in a news release on how to keep your pets safe this Halloween. We want to see your pets too! Nothing to do with the DDA nor are the fireworks meant to detract from the meaning of CHRISTmas. Rather it is meant to attract visitors to downtown Fenton. Sounds like you have an ax to grind with the DDA, save that for a DDA meeting. Try volunteering with the Jingle Fest committee and see the hard work and dedication these volunteers put into making this event happen for our community to enjoy.   more ›
