Check our picks for the activities to hit and new bars/restaurants/shops to explore: Where/when: St. John the Evangelist, 600 N Adelaide St., Fenton, MI 48430/Saturday 6:30 p.m.-midnight Why go: This exhibit supports the Fenton Area Optimist Club and gives you the chance to see “camels” raced by local entrants. Businesses buy tables as well as camels that are 4 feet by 8 feet, made of cardboard and on wheels. This year, the camels are decorated using a 1980s theme. You can bet on your favorite camel or take part in a 50/50 raffle. Donated prizes will be distributed …
