Fenton Area CROP Hunger Walk Coming Up

Businesses and individuals are welcome to participate in Oct. 14 event.

Fenton area residents and businesses can help the hungry by lacing up their sneakers for the Oct. 14 CROP Hunger Walk, or by making a donation. CROP stands for Communities Responding to Overcome Poverty, and 25 percent of donations received stays in the Fenton area community. The 32nd Fenton/Lake Fenton/Linden/Holly CROP Hunger Walk will take place Oct. 14, at Bush Park. Registration is at 1:30 p.m. Any and all businesses or individuals are welcome to walk, share literature and trinkets with the walkers, and/or to staff a water or game station. According to the event website, $375 has been donated online so far.
