Empty Rolls Needed for Fenton Area's Community Wrap In Next Week

Toilet paper, paper towel rolls can be dropped off at Image Projections through Wednesday, Dec. 5.

A Fenton mother and daughter are collecting empty toilet paper and paper towel rolls to wrap candy in for senior citizens, for the Community Wrap In on Dec. 6. Savannah Waldchen and her mother, Cheryl Waldchen, need the rolls by Dec. 5. The candy will go to seniors in local nursing homes, Savannah Waldchen said. People can drop off the tubes at Image Projections, 1470 Torrey Road in Fenton, during business hours. You can read about more ways to help the Community Wrap In on Fenton Patch.

Group Seeks Christmas Donations for Fenton Area Kids, Seniors

Items are being accepted through Dec. 5 at Linden Presbyterian Church, 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Monday through Friday for the 61st Community Wrap-In in Memory of Nancy Stockham.

Many local children and seniors will have a gift on Christmas morning, courtesy of the 61st Community Wrap-In in Memory of Nancy Stockham. The event organizers, in honor of the late social worker from Fenton, are seeking donations and volunteers. It will be from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Dec. 6, at the Tyrone Covenant Presbyterian Church, 10235 White Lake Road, Fenton. New item drop offs will be today through Dec. 5, at the Linden Presbyterian Church, 119 W. Broad St., Linden. The Linden Presbyterian Church is open 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday. The gifts are distributed locally, and donations can include items or funding. Cash donations are tax deductible, and checks should be payable to Wrap In. The Wrap In also will feature a baked …
