Fenton Man Arraigned on Armed Robbery Charges

A Fenton man has been arraigned on armed robbery charges after police say he robbed Clark Gas Station at gunpoint Wednesday. Michael Joseph Craig has been charged with armed robbery, possession of a firearm during a felony and possession of a stolen firearm, police said. Fenton Police Chief Rick Aro said police received a call from the Clark Gas Station on North Leroy Street at 2:17 p.m. Wednesday when a clerk told police she was robbed at gunpoint. The report stated that the man had a black pistol in his waistband and demanded money. Police said she told officers the suspect wearing a camouflaged jack and hat with jeans left the store and headed east on Third Street. daron is the owner of the clark station in fenton. he also runs a bar in holly for his family. last year the gas station next door to the bar was roibbed and daron followed and chased the guy for 10 miles, while on the phone with police and they cought the people.
