Fenton Officials Discuss Cornerstone, US 23 Accident Brings Traffic to a Halt

As usual, there was plenty of news in Fenton this week.

Here is a look at what you might have missed. We provided you with the news about Lake Fenton High School's new cross country course, and the 5K Run/Walk that will be open to the community on Oct. 13. Fenton Patch had the story on the Linden Autumn Festival plans, for those looking for some weekend fun. Fenton Patch is looking for a new Facebook Page cover photo. We told you how you can submit your photo, to possibly be featured on our Facebook page and website. Fenton Patch will do a story about the winner. Also on Tuesday, we had the Police Blotter from the Fenton Police Department, which let you know about stolen gasoline and beer taken from a local store. Fenton Man Hosts Fantasy Football Radio Show on ESPN

Dennis Farrell is excited about his new venture, 10 a.m. to noon on Sundays on ESPN 1090 AM.

The seeds of ESPN 1090 AM's new Fantasy Sideline radio show were planted when Dennis Farrell, of Fenton, decided he needed a hobby. An assembly line worker for Ford Motor Company in Flat Rock, Farrell started a podcast about fantasy football and other sports, a topic he's well-versed in. For his podcasts, Farrell built a small studio in his house, which he heads to after he and his wife, Heather Farrell, get their 4-year-old, Grace, into bed. A few months after beginning the podcast, Farrell invited a buddy, Nate Tucker, to join in. For those who aren't in the know about fantasy football, one participates by joining a group and picking players from real NFL lineups.
