Several Fenton Area Athletes to Continue Sports Careers

Many high school students commit to colleges and universities on National Signing Day.

Several Fenton area athletes made commitments to schools and signed letters of intent to play sports at the next level Wednesday. Fenton wide receiver Mitch Shegos signed with Notre Dame College in Ohio. Shegos - 6-1, 200 - set a school record with 14 touchdowns with 11 reception TD's in 2012, while compiling 1,357 receiving yards. He also made the All-Metro League as a receiver and defensive back. “...Mitchell Shegos is one of the most versatile athletes we signed this year.
