Two Motorcyclists Taken to Hospital by Helicopters from Accident on South Holly Road
Driver lost control going around curve, hit a truck and a passenger was thrown under a van.
Both riders of a motorcycle were still breathing at the scene of a three-vehicle accident Sunday on South Holly Road, and two University of Michigan Survival Flight helicopters carried them off. The motorcycle driver was headed west, going around a curve, when he lost control of his vehicle and slid into a Ford truck traveling east, said Sgt. Dave Reinfelder, of the City of Fenton Police Department. The rear passenger of the motorcycle, a woman, was thrown and went under a silver van that was traveling behind the truck. The 911 call came in around 2:58 p.m. Both motorcycle passengers were still breathing at the scene, and Reinfelder was not sure how serious their injuries were.
