Police: Fenton Woman Believes Ex-Boyfriend Damaged Her Door, Vehicle

At 10 a.m. on Friday, a Fenton woman, 23, reported a broken doorknob and scratched car to the Fenton Police Department. Chief of Police Rick Aro said an officer met with the complainant, who lives in an apartment in the 3000 block of Arbor Drive. The woman recently broke up with her boyfriend and owes him $300, Aro said. She told police the Fenton man, 21, was harassing her over the money she owes. When the woman left her apartment around 6:30 p.m. on Nov. 22, her 2002 Oldsmobile Aurora was parked outside, the police report said. When the woman returned at 2:30 a.m. the next morning, the door knob was broken off her apartment, Aro said. She was able to get inside and didn’t immediately call police.
