From covering community organization meetings in Flint to interviewing some of the hottest bands in the world, my experience as a freelance writer has given me the opportunity to connect with amazing people whose stories have the potential to inspire others. I've written for Real Detroit Weekly, The Flint Journal, Faith, livestrong.com, trails.com and modernmom.com as well as several publications for the University of Michigan--Flint and the College for Creative Studies. In addition to writing, I teach communication courses at the University of Michigan--Flint and fitness classes through Davison's Enrichment and Community Education Program.
