Hi Joe, just a short note to tell you that I enjoy reading your blog. I'm an American who has lived the last 20+ years in Europe and the Middle East and can appreciate your views on the general ignorance Americans show towards travel and the benefits of a second or third language. I am not from Fenton but we bought a home there about 3 years ago and now spend our summers in Fenton. We really enjoy the community and despite the confusion the Be Closer tagline generates, by and large I appreciate the pro-activeness of the town leadership and the efforts to not just sit back and manage the inevitable decay that comes with doing nothing.
