Vic Canever Chevrolet Hires Deaf Salesman

Albert Smolinski, of Swartz Creek, joins staff.

Vic Canever Chevrolet is excited to announce the newest addition to their staff, who not only is a seasoned salesman, but one that can closely fill the needs of the deaf community. Albert Smolinski, of Swartz Creek, has joined as part of their all-star sales force.

Smolinski, 26, was born half deaf to deaf parents. Sign language is the first language he learned, but English followed soon after, and he has continued to communicate using both languages throughout his life. Smolinski understands the importance of being able to communicate not only to his parents, but also to others in the deaf community.

"I think knowing sign language gives me the opportunity to communicate with another part of our world," stated Smolinski, who is using his background and knowledge of the language to provide an added service to Vic Canever Chevrolet customers.
