Soldiers and residents walked from Linden to Holly in a Fallen Soldier March on Saturday.

Dozens of soldiers and residents took a 13-mile hike Saturday in the Fallen Soldier March to honor fallen comrades. The hike began at 9 a.m. at the Linden VFW Hall, traveled along Silver Lake Road through Fenton and ended with a ceremony at the Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly. Here is a look at the march.

Thank you to all who participated. Especially the soldiers who came out to remember their fallen comrades. We also want to thank all the organizations that helped with this March and the civilians who also marched. Yesterday you let us all know that our soldiers are thought of more then once a year.
