Fenton's Vic Canever Looking for Votes for Student Commercials

Winners will get a college scholarship, a donation to their school's video production department and an airing of their spot on network television in the local market .

Vic Canever Chevrolet of Fenton is looking for votes on the final TV spots as part of the student scholarship video contest.

Students from local high schools have entered to win a college scholarship, a donation to their school's video production department and an airing of their spot on network television in the local market as the grand prize of the student video contest. The video with the most "Likes" on Facebook by March 30, 2012 will automatically get a vote in the judging process.

All entries are now posted on Vic Canever's Facebook wall.

Each individual or group created a thirty-second television commercial for the local dealership. Voting is open to public and the winning entry will be announced in March and aired on local television.

Matt Stevens, General Sales Manager of Vic Canever Chevrolet said, "Vic Canever decided to start this contest to give back to the community, and to help local high school kids showcase their talents. We know that these kids are the future of our community and we are excited to invest in their future."
