The Fenton Film Series will be hosting an audience sing-a-long to Irving Berlin's classic holiday musical, White Christmas, on Wednesday, Dec. 12 at the Fenton Community & Cultural Center.
The movie starts as 7 p.m. and admission is free. (This will also be the first event using the Community Center's brand new, and far more comfortable audience chairs.)
The lyrics to all of Irving Berlin's enchanting songs in the movie will appear on-screen and audience members will sing-a-long with the movie's stars - Bing Crosby, Rosemary Clooney, Danny Kaye and Vera Ellen (actually Vera Ellen couldn't sing and her voice was dubbed in the movie.)
The audience can singalong with timeless songs like White Christmas, (We'll Follow the) Old Man, Blue Skies, Snow, Sisters, Count Your Blessings, The Best Things Happen While Your Dancing, Mandy (There's a Minister Handy), Heat Wave, Love-You Didn't Do Right by Me,
Audience members are also welcome to come in any of the many costumes from the movie.
"Billed as the most fabulous music and mirth show in motion picture history, White Christmas will remind you of all the Christmas past. Come see it once again and bring young ones who haven't seen it yet. This should be an unforgettable evening!" said organizer John Strayer.
This movie is part of Fenton Film Series mission to showing free, high quality movies every month in downtown Fenton in the ballroom of the Fenton Community & Cultural Center.
