Fenton Film Series to Host Singalong with White Christmas Showing

Event will take place at 7 p.m. Dec. 12 at the Fenton Community & Cultural Center.

The Fenton Film Series will be hosting an audience sing-a-long to Irving Berlin's classic holiday musical, White Christmas, on Wednesday, Dec. 12 at the Fenton Community & Cultural Center.

The movie starts as 7 p.m. and admission is free.  (This will also be the first event using the Community Center's brand new, and far more comfortable audience chairs.)

The lyrics to all of Irving Berlin's enchanting songs in the movie will appear on-screen and audience members will sing-a-long with the movie's stars - Bing Crosby, Rosemary Clooney, Danny Kaye and Vera Ellen (actually Vera Ellen couldn't sing and her voice was dubbed in the movie.)

"Billed as the most fabulous music and mirth show in motion picture history, White Christmas will remind you of all the Christmas past.  Come see it once again and bring young ones who haven't seen it yet.  This should be an unforgettable evening!" said organizer John Strayer.
