2. Gas

Gas is the area is staying under $4 a gallon, but barely.

The least expensive gas in town can be found at Speedway on Owen Road for $3.96 a gallon, according to michigangasprices.com. It can be found at several other locations for $3.99 a gallon.

3. News

Looks like Linden's Summer Happening is making a comeback. After the event was canceled last year, organizers received permission from the Linden school board to host the festival on school grounds this week, according to the Flint Journal.

4. Events

Photo Exhibit at Gatsby Grind Coffee House, today, 7:00 pm, Gatsby Grind, 14330 N Fenton Rd, Fenton. An evening at Gatsby Grind Coffee House featuring a photo exhibit by Artist Paula Slack. Paula will be displaying some of her photography art for sale with portion of the proceeds to be donated to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. The evening will be on the tunes of young artist Benjamin Salazar playing his acoustic. Specialty Coffee, smoothies, Salads and snacks will be available at the event.

5. Looking ahead

, a run/walk event April 21 at Kensington Metropark in Milford. All proceeds will benefit the youth that Childhelp Michigan serves. Patch has signed on to honor the memory of Dominick and join the fight to prevent, recognize and treat child abuse.

The Childhelp Run the Course for Dominick Calhoun will begin at 7:30 a.m. April 21 and will go until 1:30 p.m. Throughout the day, participants can run in the 5K race or walk in the 1 Mile Fun Walk. .
