The following arrest information was supplied by the Fenton Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction

arrested a man on charges of breaking and entering after a resident found the man, whom he did not know, sleeping on the couch.

On Oct. 14, a resident of an apartment on the 1000 block of Poplar Street told police that around 5:45 a.m. he woke up and found the man sleeping. The man told the resident he had been partying with friends, Fenton Police Chief Rick Aro said. The resident then ordered the man to leave, Aro added.

After the man had left the resident told police his television and Xbox 360 was missing and a window was open in the apartment, Aro said.

Aro added that while the resident was speaking outside to the police officer, another apartment resident walked up and reported that someone had tried to enter his apartment through the window as well.

The first resident then identified a man walking down the street nearby as the man who had been inside his apartment, Aro said.
