Crime Report: Woman Arrested on Retail Fraud Charges

The following arrest information was supplied by the Fenton Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Police arrested a 25-year-old Flint resident on charges of shoplifting around 4:15 p.m. Dec. 31 at .

Fenton Police Chief Rick Aro said store security told police a woman had entered the store and placed 15 video games in her shopping cart and then later concealed them in her purse and exited the store without paying for the items. The games were valued at $300.

Police arrested the woman and store personnel provided police with video footage of the incident. She was given a notice to appear in court.
