A 23-year-old Fenton man has been arraigned on weapons charges after police say he shot at The Laundry in Fenton and Blackthorn Pub in Holly.

Fenton Police Chief Rick Aro said Philip Aitken was charged after police say he fired three shots into three different windows on the north side of The Laundry on Dec. 22 between 12:30 and 4 a.m. Police also believe he fired shots at Blackthorn Pub in Holly on Dec. 26.

During the investigation of the incidents, Fenton and Holly Police discovered Aitken had worked at both places and had recently been fired from both jobs. They received a search warrant for his Fenton home and found the .22 caliber rifle used in the shootings.
