Former Linden Police Officer Headed to Trial on Criminal Sexual Conduct Charges

The following arrest information was supplied by the Fenton Police Department and court records. It does not indicate a conviction.

A former Linden police officer is headed to trial for criminal sexual conduct charges.

Fenton resident Wade Clayton Dilley faces three counts of second degree criminal sexual conduct charges involving a person under the age of 13, according to Genesee Count Circuit Court records.

One incident occurred in Mundy Township in 2009 and two others in April 2011 in Fenton, according to WHMI.

There is no court date scheduled, according to the records.

Retail fraud

Fenton Police arrested two local residents on retail fraud charges Dec. 20.

Fenton Police Chief Rick Aro said Walmart security reported that they observed two individuals conceal several video games and then exit the store without paying for the items. Employees gave police a description of the vehicle that police were later able to locate, Aro said. A 29-year-old Corunna male and a 28-year-old Owosso female were both arrested on retail fraud charges.

A warrant is pending on the charges.

Larceny from a vehicle

A 22-year-old Burton resident reported a $25 gas card, $25 gift card, a small amount of cash and a prescription for 100 Xanax pills missing from his vehicle that was parked at Burgaflex on Copper Avenue in Fenton, according to a police report.

Aro said the victim reported that the car was not locked and police are reviewing video surveillance from the company.
