Fenton Police arrested two local residents on retail fraud charges Dec. 20.

Fenton Police Chief Rick Aro said Walmart security reported that they observed two individuals conceal several video games and then exit the store without paying for the items. Employees gave police a description of the vehicle that police were later able to locate, Aro said. A 29-year-old Corunna male and a 28-year-old Owosso female were both arrested on retail fraud charges.

A warrant is pending on the charges.

Larceny from a vehicle

A 22-year-old Burton resident reported a $25 gas card, $25 gift card, a small amount of cash and a prescription for 100 Xanax pills missing from his vehicle that was parked at Burgaflex on Copper Avenue in Fenton, according to a police report.

Aro said the victim reported that the car was not locked and police are reviewing video surveillance from the company.
