Police: Fight Erupts in Fenton Apartment

The following arrest information was supplied by the Fenton Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Fenton Police are investigating an assault case after a 23-year-old Fenton man reported he was attacked by two other Fenton men in his apartment.

Fenton Police Chief Rick Aro said the 23-year-old Fenton man told police that shortly after midnight Nov. 11, he got into an argument with two friends, who then assaulted him in an apartment on the 1000 block of Georgetown Parkway.

Officers observed injuries to the victim, who was taken to the hospital by his mother for treatment, according to the report.

Aro said the suspects took the man’s credit card and some cash before leaving the apartment. He said police contacted one of the suspects on the 3000 block of Rolston Road, who first denied being at the apartment. Police found the victim’s credit card at the residence, however, and arrested the man on assault charges, Aro said.

Aro said the suspect said the argument between the men occurred after an earlier phone call when the victim threatened to shoot the suspects. Aro said the victim denied that he threatened the suspects.

Aro said the case is still under investigation and police are working on interviewing all who were present during the altercation.
