Police are searching for a retail fraud suspect after a man attempted to steal more than $300 in liquor from on Silver Parkway.

Chief Rick Aro said store security told police a man filled his cart with liquor, disappeared from security video footage for a long amount of time and then re-appeared when walking by the cash registers with a cart full of liquor and attempted to exit the store. Store security reported they then approached the man, who then fled.

Aro said store security identified the man, whom they recognized from prior incidents. Police have requested a warrant for the man believed to be a 48-year-old Flint resident.
